We at Brentwood Lions work hard to raise funds to help people in our local community and we do this by either donating funds raised to worthy causes or individuals to help improve the services being provided or the quality of lives.
There are a number of local causes that we assist and many individuals that we have supported such as young Sadie May Fisk, an individual with cerebral palsy . We raised £5,000 to part fund an operation to enable her to walk as funding was not available from the NHS.
STOCK VILLAGE DEFIBRILLATOR APPEAL
The Club donated £500 to the appeal to have two community access defibrillators installed within Stock Village.
STOCK PRIMARY SCHOOL
Lions visited the schoool to present a cheque to pay for urgently required books for the newly decorated school library.
